In spring 2026, the brand new Alpine Bike Park Schneeberg will open at the foot of the Schneeberg mountain, bringing fresh action to the region. Around 10 kilometres of trails and lines await, including a beginner-friendly flow line, varied single trails ranging from blue to black, and a versatile kids' and skills area with an airbag jump. Mountain bike fans can also look forward to convenient bike transport by chairlift. By 2028, the range will grow to 15 kilometres – perfect for families, beginners and ambitious riders who want to experience alpine terrain with plenty of flow. No, you are not allowed to cycle or mountain bike all the way up the Schneeberg. The summit region is protected and the paths up to it are closed to cyclists. Instead, there is a challenging and very beautiful mountain bike circuit, the Schneeberg route. It is one of the most challenging routes around Puchberg and leads through forests, along forest paths and panoramic passages with views of the 2,076 m high Schneeberg. The route offers varied elevation profiles and plenty of nature – perfect for experiencing the mountains intensively without cycling to the summit.
